From waste material to designer furniture

At Staco, we believe in sustainability and circular thinking. That is why we have launched a unique upcycling project! 

Together with Joris Wintgens, owner of design label Offsite furniture, we are exploring how we can give waste material from our production a second life. What started with an introduction via Luc Habets has now grown into an inspiring collaboration with tangible results.

Offsite furniture is a design label that transforms industrial waste into functional and scalable design. It works with designers and manufacturers to create furniture and objects from waste streams from the wood and metal industries, among others.

The first prototype of our collaboration is now a reality — a powerful example of how waste material can be transformed into a unique, circular piece of furniture. This is just the beginning. Here's to more circular designs, smart repurposing and sustainable impact!
