The flame-extinguishing panel for protection against blow-outs in oil-cooled transformer stations.

Specifically for applications around transformer substations, Staco has developed a metal floor panel that helps limit fire hazards. These flame-extinguishing panels are designed with an open area of less than 5%, playing a crucial role in automatically extinguishing burning transformer oil.

Proven safety through effective testing

In collaboration with Efectis Nederland BV, Staco has extensively tested TrafoDeck under realistic conditions. During a simulated blow-out, the panels quickly and effectively extinguished burning transformer oil. The test reached a maximum temperature of 144 °C and confirmed the flame-extinguishing function of the system. The full report is available for download via the form.
