Helicopter landing pad

The Reconstruction Program of University Children's Hospital in Krakow for 2011-2016 consists of hospital expansion, purchase of new equipment for the treatment and the helicopter landing pad building. Staco offers solutions for each function that is why they have been chosen as a steel gratings supplier for the project of building a helicopter landing pad.

Children from all over Poland have been continually treated in the University Children's Hospital since 1965. To provide traditional medical care for little patients, the hospital modernization was necessary. The Reconstruction Programme of University Children's Hospital in Krakow has been approved by the Council of Ministers in May 2011. The total investment of this programme is approximately 201 million zlotys (48 million euro). Currently, the hospital is modernised and expanded. Equipment for the treatment and diagnosis has been purchashed. The construction of the helicopter landing pad has been completed already.

Staco Polska has produced 150 m2 pressed gratings with mesh 99x99 mm and bearing bar 40x2 mm. The helicopter landing pad is located right next to the emergency department. Thanks to funds from the Ministry of Health, the hospital transforms into an ultramodern childen treatment center.
