Staco gratings are genuinely added as architectural value of objects. The contractor had an opportunity to convince this during the project "W-Z tram route modernization (section Wolski Cemetery – Wileński Station)" execution.
Installation of the shelters at the "Park Praski" tram stops on the W-Z tram route was accomplished within the framework of the project "W-Z tram route modernization (section Wolski Cemetery – Wileński Station)" aimed at the improvement of public transport standards. Shelters geometry refers to the rounded shapes of W-Z route tunnel. Glass elevation was placed on the object' space truss made of circular pipes. To prevent from splinters coming from the roadway, this construction was made using stainless steel panels. Lightning frames were placed in the upper parts of the glass. Additionally, the bus shelter was equipped with the Passenger Information System, replacing posts.
There is no doubt, that the shelters as well as Staco gratings introduced new higher standard of tram stops architecture. Staco Polska has provided pressed gratings made of stainless steel, which were used in the shelters balustrades. This project shows once again how versatile Staco gratings can be.
